Holiday Accommodation Terms & Conditions:

Upon Making a Reservation: Please contact us to check availability of dates & property. A 25% deposit is payable at the time of booking via cheque, bank transfer or Paypal, whichever is most convenient to you. Payment is in GBP (£) or another currency by arrangement. The balance of payment is to be paid within 6 weeks prior to arrival date. Booking within 8 weeks of arrival are payable in full.

Upon Booking we will need to know: Your full name, contact address, Telephone & Mobile Number plus e mail address.
The number of adults & children in the party.
Upon receipt of the deposit the booking will be confirmed with a receipt & invoice for the balance along with a holiday rental agreement & a A4 sheet of helpful information.
Any special needs i.e. allergies to feather pillows/duvets, difficulties with stairs etc
Require Baby /toddler High chair, travel cot, baby bath, Child stair guard & Child safe fire guard. The Houses are very Child friendly.

Arrivals & Departures: In general our lets will run from Saturday to Saturday. The house shall be ready for you at 1600 hours & departure by 1000 hours .This is to ensure adequate time to clean & prepare the house for incoming guests. If you are unable to meet these times please discuss your requirements with us.

Cancellation: If you require to Cancel a reservation we will do our best to re let the property but there will be a £20 charge to cover administration & bank charges.
If we are unable to re let the House, cancellation costs will be incurred as follows:
*More than 6 weeks before booking commences your deposit will be forfeited.
*Less than 6 weeks before booking commences you will be liable to pay full cost of rental.
Please ensure you have travel Insurance in case of ferry/plane disruptions etc.

Special Arrangements: If you wish to stay for more than 1 week please request our special discount rate. During the winter months we are happy to provide bookings for short periods such as a long weekend & can provide a B&B rate per room including provision of Breakfast cereals, fresh Croissants, Bacon & egg plus yogurts on a self service basis.
If you are a large group i.e. a family gathering for wedding, party, Golf Group, special occasions etc rental of the 2 houses will be perfect . Please let us know & we can provide a special rate with special terms.
If you live abroad & would like something booked ahead of your arrival please just ask.

Smoking: There is a NO smoking policy in the House. We provide clam shells on the Patio & in the Porch. Please dispose of cigarette stubs carefully.

Parking: There is plenty of space for up to 3 vehicles at the back of the House.

Cleaning & Breakages: : We request that the house be left clean & tidy on departure & that any breakages or damage be reported to Gill in order that these can be rectified for incoming guests. In certain circumstances damages & losses will be charged in full.

Pets: As we are a working Croft with livestock all around & have our own working Sheep Dogs, we would prefer a No pet policy however if you are happy for your pet to be in clean warm kennel in our own shed close to the House & you can guarantee they will not worry Livestock & will not be distressed in new surrounds we will allow this at an extra Kennel charge of £40 for the week. This will allow those who would have to kennel their pets anyway but can have them on holiday for all the magical walks etc.

Recycling: We encourage our Guests to recycle & use water plus electricity conservatively. Please use our recycling bins: Blue for paper/cardboard, Red bag for washed plastic bottles/cans/tins, Blue bin for glass & bottles in a bag, green for general waste & brown for garden compost waste.
